COVID-19

Unfortunately, the COVID-19 virus has taken a toll on the musical community. You'll find two lists below of just some of the people who have either contracted the virus or have died from it.

Update notes (newest first):

2021-05-06: Unfortunately I came across another list today I hadn't seen before. 21 (!) new – but not recent, necessarily – deaths on the list.

2021-05-05: It's been about 5 months and the virus is still killing and making people sick, sometimes very sick. 3 deaths and 12 infections to report. Again, this is just famous people who make the news; there are more out there.

2020-12-11: THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC IS NOT OVER. I just added 18 deaths and 19 sicknesses, since November 2, and that's just famous or nearly-famous people. Continue to be safe. The end appears to be in sight.
